I wanted to experience the inspiration behind this amazing dance performance, so I interviewed the artistic director and choreographer, Curtis Uhlemann about the inspiration and process behind the dance performance. In this dance interview, He explains the process behind creating the dynamic and kinetic set design. The set design in this these contemporary dance videos changes from hanging doors to shadow dance screens to light bulbs emerging from the middle of the floor. In this dance interview, he explains how he orchestrates the dancers and choreography around the set design. Curtis then explains how he could not rehearse the dance performance until the day before the show in this fascinating dance interview.
